D(ARES)
the group of five unique, dynamic, vibrant and enthusiastic Aresians who want
to serve you in the 35th Student Council.

We are: Nicolette, Kian Keong, Jillian, Tong Hang and Jolene.

Here, We hope you can get to know us a little better, as well as to gain a deeper understanding of D(ARES)

In this game of Truth or Dare,
We're Game.
And the Truth is,
We Dare.

Do You dare to believe in Us?

Ever stepped into class just to wonder when lessons will end,
but (groans), reaching for the timetable in your file seems to be such a tedious task?

Introducing card-sized timetables, courtesy of D(ARES),
that can be placed in pencil cases or the wallets for easy reference.
You can even dump it in the washing machine by mistake and not freak out.

Throughout this campaigning period, we are giving out timetables that you can truly call your own.

If there are problems with the timetables,
feel free to come to any of us and we'll gladly make a new one for you : D

Because We Dare, and We're from Ares! :D

Dare, the definition:
To have the courage required for,
To challenge (someone) to do something requiring boldness
To be courageous or bold enough to do or try something
To be courageous or bold enough to
An act of daring; a challenge.

We dare to run.
Coming from five different Secondary Schools, we've taken up this challenge.
We dare to try, we dare to dream.
We dare to make a difference to your school life.

We dare you to support us,
to Vote for Us.

She squeals in excitement. Or screams, whatever.
She jumps about, getting all hyped up for the slightest reasons.
She throws her head back and giggles with pure pleasure at the lamest joke you've ever heard.

Hailing from the land of blue pinafores, this (physically ex, but spiritually forever) St Nicks girl,
NICOLETTE (or NICK, as most know her as), is the epitome of ~~madness~~ enthusiasm.

She loves brainstorming and allowing her extremely creative creative juices to flow. She thinks out of the box.
She D(ARES) to be extreme. She D(ARES) to break free.

Vote for her, as she would absolutely love to contribute her (crazy) ideas to the 35th Student Council,
and sincerely wishes to be granted the privilege of serving Hwa Chong.

So. NICK needs you.(SO DOES JILLIAN, JOLENE, KIANKEONG AND SONGKANG!) :D

Permanent grin? Check.
Friendly personality? Check.

You've seen him around. Fun-loving and down-to-earth, this approachable guy is one who'd listen to
all your problems and help you to solve them (probably throwing in a few jokes along the way).
But don't think that this Mr Catholic High with the cute green shorts,
KIANKEONG, is all play and no work.

So. KIANKEONG wants to bring all these to you. His D(ARES) to make a commitment to serve, to lead.

JILLIAN is laughing.
Her distinctive laughter resounds.

JILLIAN, bubbly, energetic, cheerful MGS girl.
JILLIAN, amazing with her amazing time-management skills, juggling,
studies, squash commitments (national team player, this girl)
and countless taxing (but immensely enjoyable) D(ARES) meetings.

JILLIAN is game for anything, and is always more than willing to do
whatever's expected of her. Except for the fact that she produces much more.
Along with a ready smile on her face.

She wishes to join the 35th Student Council,
to do her part and contribute whatever she can to Hwa Chong.
She D(ARES) to commit her time and effort, she D(ARES) to play a part.
